Gardner Berry
(Vocals)
Gardner has been playing music
professionally for close to four decades. After spending a number
of years working through a long list of local cover bands, The Telstars,
Stonecross, and The Wicked Big Band among others and the occasional
failed original project, he was a founding member of his current
band, MAMA KICKS, recently voted Best NH Rock Band by New Hampshire
Magazine.
Gardner also has very successful side career as a solo pianist/vocalist,
and writes a popular column for the Massachusetts based music monthly,
Metronome Magazine.
Why Four Sticks and why these fellow bandmates?
"I've been a rabid Led Zeppelin
fan since the early seventies. It's the one and only classic rock
band I never get tired of listening to. I love the songs and I admire
the musicianship. Robert Plant has been my favorite vocalist for
virtually all my career.
Tim, David & Chris are three of my favorite local musicians.
I work with all of them in various projects and it's always a good
experience. Why? Once you listen, it'll be obvious."

Chris Lester
(Bass)
Chris Lester grew up in New Hampshire and has
played with local bands such as First Strike, Tizzy and The Classics
Showband where he met future 4 Sticks singer Gardner Berry. Chris
moved to California to play with Atlantic recording artists Wild
Horses as well as Zen Boy, UltraSonicCrush and Custom 500. After
13 years on the west coast Chris decided to return home where
he performs with The Lounge Flies, Gazpacho and occasionally Mama
Kicks.
Why Four Sticks and why these fellow bandmates?
"The first album I ever bought was Led
Zeppelin 1 and I've never been the same since. I think John Paul
Jones was/is one of the most subtly brilliant musicians I have
ever heard. I wouldn't have done a Zeppelin band if the musicians
couldn't play the parts correctly. With G, Tim and David I have
no worries. It's awesome!"

Tim Theriault
(Guitar)
Although Tim is the baby of the band, he does
have 15 years of professional gigging under his belt. Playing the
guitar since he was seven, he grew up listening to the classics:
Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, etc. and learned completely by ear &
feel. He has been in numerous cover & original bands over the
years including The Intruders, Crossfire, Heavens to Murgatroid,
and for the past 10 years his own Tim Theriault Band, consisting
of some of the best musicians on the seacoast. His friends (&
enemies) call him, "The Human Jukebox".
Why Four Sticks and why these fellow
bandmates?
"My mom turned me on to Zep when I was a wee little laddie,
and I was hooked from the start. There was always something that
scared me about them, but in a good way. As I got older I discovered
how amazing the writing & arranging of the songs were. I was
a huge Jimmy Page addict, and Bonham as well. As far as this new
band, I've known all along what great
musicians these guys are, and working with them on this project
has only solidified that in my mind. Not only are they talented,
but easy going, normal guys. It's hard to say that about a lot of
musicians. I'm having a blast!"

David Stefanelli
(Drums)
David has been on the music scene
since he was a young teen and has the history and stories to prove
it. David has spent many years playing with New England cover
bands as well as national and international groups as RTZ with
Brad Delp and Barry Goudreau and Peter Wolf of The J. Geils Band.
Most recently, David has enjoyably joined up with Lisa Guyer and
now is a permanent member of Mama Kicks.
Why Four-Sticks and why
these fellow bandmates?
"Led Zeppelin is one of the many legend bands that I grew
up with. John Bonham is probably the coolest, smoothest and most
innovative rock drummer that ever was. Playing these tunes CORRECTLY
is quite a task and I know NO ONE except for Gardner who can even
get close to singing these songs. Chris Lester is too good on
bass to be as nice as he is and freakin Tim Theriault is a genius
on that guitar!
That's enough for me!"
